Terms of Service
Last updated: May 8th, 2026.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and located outside the United States and OFAC-sanctioned jurisdictions (currently US, IR, KP, SY, CU, RU). The US block is temporary pending regulatory clarity; the OFAC list is permanent. We screen the request country at the edge — using a VPN to bypass the geofence is grounds for ban at admin discretion. You are responsible for your own local law.
2. Account & identity
Your identity is the wallet you sign in with. We do not collect ID or KYC documents. Every withdrawal requires a fresh signature from that same wallet. Email-only accounts cannot trade — a wallet must be bound first. Login sessions last 7 days; we may ban accounts that show wash-trading, multi-accounting, or manipulation patterns.
3. Custody
We hold deposited USDC custodially. Your trade balance is tracked off-chain in your Predict Here account; it is not the same as your on-chain wallet balance. Withdrawals always send USDC back to the wallet you signed in with — there is no option to withdraw to a different address.
4. Crypto only
We do not accept fiat. All deposits and withdrawals are USDC on Polygon. We do not run on/off ramps; sourcing USDC is your responsibility. Deposits credit after 30 block confirmations (~60 seconds). Withdrawals are considered final after 30 confirmations.
5. Markets & settlement
Markets are streamer-resolved. The instant a streamer proposes a winner, pools are paid into your account balance — but those winnings are held from on-chain withdrawal for 3 hours, the dispute window. During that window any participant in the market may flag the call for admin review. Flagging puts the market into DISPUTED and holds the winnings indefinitely until an admin confirms the streamer's call or overrides it. If overridden, payouts are reversed and re-run against the corrected outcome; users who already withdrew may end up with a negative balance, which we will recover before further play.
Timed markets that pass their close time without a streamer resolving them are auto-refunded after 48 hours. Open-ended markets are never auto-refunded — they wait for the streamer or, as a last resort, an admin force-resolve.
6. Bet limits & fees
Minimum bet $1. Maximum bet $10,000 in a single placement. A flat 1% fee is deducted at the moment you place a bet (gross = fee + net into the pool). Deposit and withdrawal cost network gas, paid by us on withdrawal and by you on deposit.
7. Withdrawal limits
To bound losses from a stolen session or compromised key:
- Per user: $2,000 / day, $20,000 / 30 days.
- Per request: any withdrawal of $500 or less is auto-broadcast to the chain. Any single withdrawal above $500 is queued for manual admin review before signing — typically released within one business day.
- Burst: at most 3 withdrawal attempts in a short window, then 1/hour sustained.
- Settlement winnings cannot be withdrawn during the 3-hour dispute hold; balances flagged or under dispute remain held until admin acts.
8. Sanctions screening
We screen every wallet against the Chainalysis Sanctions Oracle on Polygon at login, on every deposit, and on every withdrawal (results cached for 24 hours). Sanctioned addresses are blocked. Deposits arriving from sanctioned senders are quarantined and not credited.
9. Prohibited conduct
Wash trading, market manipulation, multi-accounting, automated trading without prior approval, evading the geofence, or spamming dispute flags (rate-limited to 5 per market per hour) may result in ban.
10. Risk disclosure
You can lose every dollar you deposit. Additional risks: a compromise of our operational wallet keys could affect user balances; USDC on Polygon is subject to upgrade by Circle; Polygon RPCs can stall, briefly delaying deposit credit and withdrawal broadcast; an admin override during the dispute window can claw back winnings already paid into your account.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Predict Here is not liable for losses arising from system outages, oracle failures, network congestion, streamer mis-calls, or user error including loss of wallet keys.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United States with disputes resolved in the State of Delaware.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The constants above (caps, windows, fees) are configured in our environment and can change without code changes; material reductions to user-favorable values will be announced before taking effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
